The most central principles of organising in our Network are class unity, democratic centralism, party discipline and also de-centralised communication and division of responsibilities to ensure a working practical application of these principles. For a more comprehensive explanation, please read our Organising 101 -booklet (finnish) ==>
There’s something to do for everyone. We accept comrades who just want to follow along and those willing to do active participation. The best way to get in is to come join us in our open-for-public activities we post to our activity calendar. Alternatively, you can contact us directly via E-Mail and tell us in what capacity you would like to participate. info@lankaverkosto.fi
LANKA Network has two official chapters: Lahti ja Tampere. In addition to these there may also be “candidate chapters”, which are not yet official chapters of the Network. We want to preserve a certain integrity amongst our official chapters nationwide, which is why we have set certain criteria for them to ensure active and independent functioning. During the candidate process a candidate chapter strives to prove for the rest of the Network its ability to function according to the responsibilities of an official one.

Lahti Chapter is the first and original chapter of the Network.

LANKA Network strives to form a nationally functioning and effective Marxist-Leninist organisation. (Programme of Party Unity, 2025 (finnish)) Anyone can start a new chapter of the Network in their own city or town. However, we recommend getting to know our organisation first in the geographically nearest chapter before starting your own. We ensure the quality of our activities by setting certain criteria for the chapters. Instructions on starting a new chapter and an accurate list of criteria can be found in our Starter Pack for New Chapters (finnish) ==>
Chapters which are new or don’t fill the criteria are called “candidate chapters”. LANKA Network provides active support for them and they can use the name of the Network in their activities, but they don’t have power in the decision-making process of the Network directly.
